DELIVERIES FROM JAPAN VIA TURKEY

In case of Japanese restrictions prohibiting direct transportation to Russia, routing the shipment via Turkey shall be the optimal solution.
The following logistical options are available for organizing cargo transportation through Turkey:

1. Sea freight from Japan via Turkey involves repacking (changing the container) in the port of transshipment in Turkey (Istanbul). From Turkey, the cargo is transported to the port of Novorossiysk for customs clearance, reloading and further transportation inside Russia, usually by truck.
2. LCL cargo delivery for the Japan-Turkey-Russia route may utilize sea shipping together with combined transportation means.
3. Samples can be delivered by sea and air.
   The fastest method of transportation is by air. For cost effectiveness, combined (multimodal) transportation is used.
